Dental care is important in maintaining your pet’s health. For some pets. home dental care may be enough to keep their smiles bright and their gums healthy, but for some pets, routine professional dental cleanings may be needed. Some pets may even have periodontal disease and damaged teeth – causing pain when chewing and leading to oral infections and tooth loss. Poor oral health can lead to damage to organs such as the heart and kidneys as bacteria circulates through the bloodstream.

For those pets who need routine professional cleaning, we adhere to the American Animal Hospital Association’s (AAHA) guidelines for dental procedures to improve the safety and outcome of these procedures. If you are unsure of the level of dental care your pet needs, we offer a courtesy oral health assessment with one of our Registered Veterinary Technicians.
