Cherokee County Animal Shelter
The Cherokee County Animal Shelter takes in animals that are brought in by animal control officers, animals owned by citizens of Cherokee County and unwanted strays. The Cherokee County Animal Shelter also adopts animals out to the public.

Cobb and Cherokee Emergency Veterinary Clinics
Cobb Emergency Veterinary Clinic is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. They accept referrals anytime. Cobb Veterinary Emergency and Referral Center houses several referral specialty practices. Cherokee Emergency Veterinary Clinic is open from 6pm to 8am on weekdays and 24 hours on weekends and holidays. Both clinics will accept emergency walk-in-patients when your regular veterinarian is unavailable (i.e. nights, holidays, weekends).
