Allison Wansky

DVM, Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist

Dr. Wansky has been with the practice since 1994, working at our sister hospitals, Etowah and Trickum Ridge, until helping to open Allatoona in 1998. She graduated from The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. She is married and has 2 children, Skyler and Sam. Her furry family includes Benny (Terrier mix), Fritz (Terrier mix) and 2 cats, Big Mac and Toby. In addition to general medicine and surgery, she has a special interest in holistic medicine and is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA). Dr. Wansky’s civic activities include volunteering at Good Mews (a no-kill cat shelter in Cobb County) and LoveLoud community outreach and participation in the annual Atlanta 2-Day Walk Against Breast Cancer.

Geoff Landau


Dr. Geoff Landau joined our team in 2015. He earned his undergraduate and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degrees from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. He is excited to be a Georgia resident with his wife, Taylor, and their rescued dog, Piper. Dr. Landau is very passionate about client communication and education and loves being able to help teach families about veterinary medicine. In his free time, Dr. Landau enjoys being in the outdoors and going hiking, kayaking, and fishing. He is also an avid college sports fan.

Jennifer Hiland

DVM, Certified in Animal Chiropractic

Dr. Hiland started with our practice as a veterinary assistant in 1996. She worked through high school and on breaks during college, rotating between our hospitals. After finishing her undergraduate work at The University of Georgia, she attended veterinary school at St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies. Dr. Hiland started as a veterinarian here in June of 2007. She has since worked between all four hospitals. She has two dogs: Sashimi (Boston Terrier mix) and Sophia (Bernese Mountain Dog). She also has a cat, Chops, and a horse, Buckshot. In her free time Dr. Hiland enjoys spending time with her children and traveling. In addition to interests in general surgery and medicine, she is certified in animal chiropractic care.

Halie Witten


Dr. Halie Witten joined our compassionate team of Veterinarians in early 2017. She earned her undergraduate and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degrees from the University of Florida.

Registered Veterinary Technicians


Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) – Lab Manager/Corporate Technician Manager

An employee of Allatoona since 2002, Vanessa possesses the unique combination of technical experience with compassionate customer service. She has been part of the veterinary industry since 1998. She has a special interest in ultrasound and strongly believes in the importance of the human-animal bond. Her staff strives for excellence and high level medical and surgical care. Vanessa enjoys spending time with her sons, her Pug, Bruiser and her three cats, Tabby, Precious and Emmett.


Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

Denise joined Allatoona Animal Hospital in November 2005 and has been in the veterinary industry since 1997. She has one dog, Chester, a Terrier mix and 5 cats, Tybee, Jezebel, Wilma, B.B. and Julie. In her spare time, Denise loves being outdoors, playing softball and spending time with friends and family.

Client Services Manager/Webmaster

Errolyn began her career in the veterinary field in 1997 and serves as Corporate Client Relations Manager in addition to being webmaster and social media coordinator. She is passionate about pet health and enjoys client education and client assistance. Errolyn served in the U.S. Air Force as a mechanic for over 8 years. She also served in a national dog breed club for over 15 years coordinating health research activities, and she currently manages an international breed health consortium on facebook.

Once active in breeding top show dogs, she now shares her home with 2 Miniature Schnauzers; Olive, and Schatz, a rescue German Shepherd; Zelda, and a small flock of backyard chickens. Errolyn volunteers by participating in activities to help educate the community on pet health issues as well as fundraising events for breast cancer awareness, including the Komen 3-Day in Atlanta and the American Cancer Society Making Strides Walks. She spends her spare time on organic gardening, home improvement projects, singing, watercolor painting, and tending to her Koi pond & pet chickens.


Client Services

Jackie rejoined our team in 2014 as a client service representative. She enjoys meeting and helping clients and their pets. Jackie manages our consumer rebates program, ensuring clients receive credit for product promotions. She supports the community by involvement in fundraising and participating in breast cancer awareness walks. In her free time Jackie enjoys gardening and traveling, and spending time with her dog Koo-Jo, an adorable Miniature Schnauzer.


Client Services

Brandee has worked at building relationships with clients and their pets since 1996. In 2017, Brandee achieved her CVPM certificate, a designation known as the highest level credential for professional veterinary managers awarded by the VHMA (Veterinary Hospital Managers Association).
Brandee appreciates the special opportunity in providing patients and their families with the highest standard of available medical care. She loves all animals, but cats are her passion. She takes great pride in knowing our clients, their cats and their needs.
Brandee has strong family values. Brandee, Granny and little sister Ashley share their home with 3 cats, “Cleo”, “Gracie”, “Laid Back Jack”, and ” Beezlee” the Shih Tzu.
Brandee’s favorite activities include dirt bike riding (motocross style), hiking, swimming, kayaking, kite flying, camping and relaxing with family and friends.


Client Services/Prescription Diets Manager

Meghan has been working in the veterinary field since 2002. She has been working with animals since she was a child involved in rescue and rehabilitation of small animals. She started her career in the kennel then moved to a veterinary technician position. She began working as a Client Service Representative with our company in the fall of 2013 and enjoys helping clients and patients. Meghan’s goal is to return to school to earn her Veterinary Technician Certificate and continue working in the medical field. In her spare time, Meghan enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with her daughter and family.


Client Services

Tammy joined Allatoona Animal Hospital in January 2001. She is married with three daughters and 2 grandsons. Her furry family consists of a Bassett Hound, Mandy, 3 Chihuahuas (Princess, Halo and Bitsy), a Golden Retriever named Dex, and 2 cats (Nikki and Silverbelle). In her spare time, Tammy enjoys reading, trips to the beach, meeting new people, and playing and spending time with her grandsons, Braden and Barrett.

Veterinary Assistant

Brittany started with us several years ago as an Animal Care Specialist in our boarding facility and has progressed to serving as a Veterinary Assistant. She enjoys caring for patients and helping sick patients as well as educating clients on disease prevention. Brittany knew from her youth that she wanted to work with animals and is pursuing her dream of becoming a registered veterinary technician. In her spare time, she enjoys the beach and spending time with family and friends. She shares her home with a Lab/Basset mix named Caden, adopted from a shelter.


Veterinary Assistant

Eris started her career in our Pet Lodge working as an Animal Care Specialist. Her favorite part of her job is working with our wonderful patients and providing a positive experience for them. She then progressed to become a Veterinary Assistant and enjoys working with the patients and their owners helping to educate them on pet care. In her spare time, Eris enjoys reading, crocheting, and spending time with her family. She and her family share their home with two adorable Miniature Schnauzers named Heidi and Rory.


Veterinary Assistant

Alyssa joined our team in 2015 and enjoys working with our patients and providing care for them. Her goals include attending a Veterinary Technician training program. Her favorite part of her job is developing relationships with the animals she cares for and treating them like they are her own, and especially getting daily puppy kisses. Alyssa has 2 dogs, Bella and Bradley. Bradley is a rescue and Bella has been with Alyssa since puppy hood. In her spare time, Alyssa enjoys hiking and exploring with her dogs and spending time with family.


Veterinary Assistant

Leah joined Allatoona in April 2006 and has been in the veterinary industry since 1999. She has always had a great love and appreciation for animals. Leah specializes in surgery and is studying to be a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Her furry family includes Phoebe (Leah is convinced she’s part deer and part kangaroo!), Delilah (Lab mix) and 2 cats, Sarah and Snowflake, and the adorable Miniature Pig named Dottie. All Leah’s pets were rescues from various shelters. In her spare time, Leah enjoys playing with her crazy dogs, camping, reading, and is a very big fan of video games.

Animal Care Specialist

Meghan joined our team in 2016 and enjoys working with our patients in our boarding facility. Meghan says, “My favorite part about working at Allatoona Animal Hospital would be getting to be around dogs all day and being able to learn something new each and every single day.” Meghan currently has two white cats, George and Lily, as well as a springer spaniel named Daisy. Her goal is to become a Veterinarian and she is currently enrolled at Kennesaw State University with a major in Biology. After Kennesaw State, Meghan plans to go to UGA for an extra four years to attend their College of Veterinary Medicine.


Animal Care Specialist

Tori joined our team in 2016, relocating from Mobile, AL. While in Alabama, Tori volunteered with the Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) and also worked as an animal care assistant in a smaller practice. She enjoys working as an Animal Care Specialist and her favorite part of her work is meeting many different pets and their owners and getting to know them. Tori has 3 dogs and 1 cat and has always loved animals. She is currently attending a technical college studying to become a veterinary technician.

Maintenance Staff



Alan joined the company in September 2002. He has 3 dogs (Maggie – mix, Brandy – Jack Russell Terrier, and Victoria – mix) and 2 Tabby cats (Griswald and Dori). Alan rescued or adopted all his pets. In his spare time, Alan enjoys hunting, fishing and gardening.



John has been with the company since June 1994, beginning at our sister hospitals, Etowah and Trickum Ridge.




Aimee graduated from Jodi’s School of Dog Grooming in 1981 and spent 16 years at Etowah, our sister hospital, until joining Allatoona when we opened in 1998. She has an excellent reputation and a very loyal clientele. She grooms both dogs and cats and not only takes great pride in your pet’s appearance, but is also mindful of the condition of the coat and skin and any overall health concerns. In her free time, Aimee enjoys gardening, hiking and spending time with her 4 wonderful cats.
